New to IQ Option tournaments? Here's what you need to know: you compete with dozens of other traders for massive prizes that can go up to thousands of dollars. To participate in a tournament, you receive a special balance after registering for a tournament. The goal of the tournament is to finish with the biggest tournament balance; traders with the largest balance become the winners and share the prize pool between them. It's possible to participate in several tournaments at once: you will have a different tournament balance for each one of them. Some of the tournaments require a fee paid with real money and others are free to join. Previously, we reported on the tournaments IQ Option prepared for the start of the year. Among other IQ Option tournaments, in February 2020 you will have a chance to compete for $15,000, $20,000, and $50,000 prize pools in tournaments that last for 13 days, 16 days, and a month respectfully.
Lucky Trade, Best Result, and February Run tournaments
If you prefer longer tournaments, feel free to choose any of these three. For the start of the month, you have Lucky Trade and February Run both of which start at 00:00 (UTC+03) on February 1. Lucky Trade lasts for 16 days and lets you compete for a $20,000 prize pool in exchange for a $4 entry fee. February Run is a month-long tournament but has also a more than twice as big prize pool – $50,000. However, the entry fee is also bigger and amounts to $20. Lucky winners (there will be thirty of them) will receive between $2,835 and $525; the winnings gradually decrease according to the place on the leaderboard. Each of the participants will start with a $10,000 tournament balance. As for the Best Result tournament, it can be interesting if you would like to spend more time trading for the second half of the month: it starts on February 17 and lasts for 13 days, till the end of February. All three of these tournaments support rebuys so you can always start over, albeit for the additional cost.
IQ Option tournaments – February 2020
Fortunately, February 2020 will not have only the tournaments that last for weeks. If you are among those who prefer quick and exciting tournaments when top traders list is updated multiple times in an hour or even a minute, IQ Option got you covered. There is a number of tournaments that last for a weekend or even 24 hours. For a $4 fee, Salary in a Day will let you compete for a piece of $3,000 prize pool over a period of 24 hours. Weekend Treat lasts for two days and has a prize pool of $1,500 and an entry fee of just $2. 72 Hours tournament lasts (you guessed it) for three days and has an entry fee of $2; fifteen top traders will divide a prize pool of $5,000. Lastly, as a middle ground between short-term and long-term tournaments, there are a few IQ Launch tournaments that last for exactly a week and for a price of $4 will let you enter the competition for $10,000.
